Context

An independent artist sets tooth gems and custom grillz in central Toulouse. Her business lived on Instagram and on a booking platform. What was missing was the basics for being found by someone typing “tooth gems Toulouse” into Google: a real website, with her services, prices, opening hours and photos.

What I did

  • A showcase site built from scratch, designed for phones first: home, an explainer page on tooth gems, a grillz page, gallery, FAQ, contact.
  • One page per service, thirteen in total, each with its price and an address written for search, to match every way people look for it.
  • Booking handled by the platform the client already used, one click away from every page. No checkout to maintain, no online payment to secure.
  • An “open, closes at 7 pm” sign computed live from the opening hours, like a Google listing.
  • Its own art direction: burgundy, cream and gold, a large leopard-pattern title generated by custom scripts, a carousel of poses that scrolls on its own and stops at a touch, a grillz that turns as you scroll, like an Apple product page.
  • Local search done thoroughly: business structured data, opening hours, services and prices, FAQ, share images generated for every page, sitemap, and a text file written for AI assistants.
  • Privacy respected without giving up measurement: a banner with two equally weighted buttons, Google Analytics loaded only after consent, and cookie-free audience measurement alongside.
  • A work link and a client link kept separate, with the client’s voice notes turned into changes the same day.

Results for the client

  • A site live on her own domain three weeks after the first conversation, opened to search engines on 1 September 2026.
  • Every service has its page, its price and its booking button: the client no longer answers the same questions in private messages.
  • Too recent for traffic figures. Results will be published here once they are measured.

Stack

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, accessible interface components, touch carousel. Static generation, hosting and audience measurement on Vercel, a preview tunnel to share progress with the client.
