The extra eye

Ten years of filmmaking before code.

Scroll: the film moves with you.

Framing

A page is composed like a shot: what you show, what you let breathe, where the eye lands first.

Light

Contrast, hierarchy, rhythm. A readable site is a site where the light falls in the right place.

Editing

The right sequence, at the right pace. A smooth interface is edited like a scene.

It shows.

That eye for images carried over into the code: your projects look good by default, down to the details nobody notices but everyone feels.

One more tool

AI is like a camera: what matters is who's holding it.

This shot was never filmed: it was generated with Seedance. Before asking it for anything, I drew by hand how a ladybird takes off, its wings, its momentum, and that sketch is what I gave the AI. The tight framing and the low, raking light are mine too. Knowing what to ask for takes ten years of filming.

I use AI the way I used a camera: a powerful tool that has no idea what it is filming.

It helps me write code faster, review it, test it, and prepare a first draft of text or images. That is what makes short timelines and fair prices possible.

It decides nothing. It doesn't know your trade, your clients, or what will ring true for you. Choosing the frame, cutting what's too much, turning down what is merely pretty: that is still my job, and it happens by listening to you.

Everything I deliver is reviewed, tested and stood behind by me. If something isn't right, you tell me, not a machine.

Before the code

The films.

Everything I shot and edited, gathered in one place.
